Jennifer Ayers is a graduate of Homewood High School where she was a member of the Star Spangled Girls dance line and the Network Show Choir. She is a graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a degree in Choral Music Education. She was a member of Auburn University Concert Choir and Auburn Singers. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, where she was a featured soloist and dancer in the winning performance at “Greek Sing” in Auburn. Upon graduation from Auburn, she was selected to become a member of the Continental Singers where she performed throughout the United States. She has continued her dance education by studying modern dance at Samford University and jazz and ballet at Birmingham Southern College. She is certified and highly qualified in both choral music and dance education.
Jennifer Ayers began her fine arts teaching career at Homewood High School in 1997. For the past 28 years, she has been the dance instructor as well as the director and choreographer of the Star Spangled Girls dance line. Jennifer teaches jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and yoga, to her beginning and advanced dance classes.
